The Smocker - Shemīzi was made out of a silk smocked robe. We have kept the original belt and belt loops and finished the seams with a large homemade denim binding (made from scraps).

Silk & Rope and Maison Mbosso have collaborated on a range of very exciting limited unique pieces. Together, we have sourced and worked on bringing in some interesting antique vintage fabrics and pieces, and re-imagined them into utility traditional African garments.
