Skaters of Africa

Maison Mbosso’s first collection is inspired by the booming communities of skateboarders in Africa.

'Skaters of Africa’ is a mixture of traditional African garments with contemporary menswear staple pieces. The skateboarding culture inspired a mismatched look through textiles and layering details.

It also inspired the reinterpretation of some traditional African garments as well as the re-appropriation and adaptation of menswear staple pieces.

The aesthetic of this collection is defined by an attention to details, fabrication and prints.
